What do I gain from certifying my services?
Let's first discuss why certifying your services is important. Perhaps you've never considered this option before, but it is becoming increasingly significant every day.
In Europe and around the world, regulations and standards for ensuring security in digital environments and promoting responsible technology use are gaining prominence. You've probably heard about the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) or the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and how their compliance is verified within businesses and public administrations.
Besides well-known benefits like enhancing your organisation’s reputation and trustworthiness, there are other serious consequences to consider, such as temporary or permanent suspension of services, along with fines of up to 20 million euros. Therefore, certifying your services helps protect both your company and your customers.
Why trust CIBERIA to certify your services?
CIBERIA is a project funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) under the Interreg VI-A Spain–Portugal POCTEP 2021–2027 programme. Recently, it launched a Seal of Trust to certify the services of businesses and public administrations.
This subsidised service is primarily targeted at organisations within the CENCYL region (Central Portugal and Castile and León) and can be requested via our website. We adapt to each organisation’s individual needs and offer tailored services accordingly.
All consortium partners participate in the certification process: the Spanish National Cybersecurity Institute (INCIBE), Castile and León Supercomputing Centre (SCAYLE), the Foundation for Research and Development in Transport and Energy (Cidaut), AIR Institute, Science Park of the University of Salamanca, University of Salamanca (USAL), University of León (ULE), University of Beira Interior (UBI), Polytechnic of Guarda, and the Beiras and Serra da Estrela Intermunicipal Community. We also have the support of Secure Networks, a company with over 20 years of experience in critical infrastructures, open-source software and technologies, high-performance computing systems, support, and big data storage.
As you can see, our team includes experts from renowned institutions who will guide you through the certification process and subsequently provide training and tools to enhance your system's security and ensure the quality of your services.
Remember, once your service is certified, you can offer it on our Marketplace and enjoy all the associated benefits as a provider, including effective promotion through our various channels.
